    Some information how to use.
If you are using it for leather, simply apply along the seam of both surfaces you wish to join together, but keeping them separated from each other for at least 15 minutes it very on the temperature your at. In that time frame, the glue sets up. After the glue sets, press the two seams together. Be careful doing this because once the two sides touch, the glue bonds very strongly almost immediately. After joining the seams, it is a good idea to get a piece of wood and something to pound with, say another block of wood, or the outside of a heavy plastic hair brush. Place one side of the seam on the block and pat it with some force on the other. This will press the glue from the two sides even closer together making for an even better bond. You must then wait overnight before using the item. For other materials that are porous, such as canvas, the application of the glue must be doubled so that the glue can work its way into the pores. Don't goop the glue on when applying, even if just one time. Put the glue on in thin layers and wait until each layer has set before applying another one. Barge is a strange glue. It has to set before being joined. Don't fret if after you put the glue on and after it sets, it seems that the glue has dried. It has not. When you join the two pieces together you will understand how strong this stuff is. If you get the big can, the top lid has an applicator brush attached to it. Good for big projects, but too big for small ones. I have applied Barge to small projects with a popsicle stick. This glue is THICK. It doesn't have to be piled on the brush or applicator. Apply it in small amounts at a time. I have used this glue quite often with great results on leather which is what it was made for. Shoe repair people use it. I have also used it on a canvas tent and it works, but it needs to be reinforced with sewing. I hope this helps you. Good luck.
it seems to have dried and seems unusable. It still has plenty of sticking power. You will notice that once you join the two seams together.
