    Description

1929 exquisite pale icy-blue guilloche enamel sterling silver hand vanity mirror. Hallmarks: Gothic letter O for 1929 assay office London by the maker RC (Richard Comyns of William Comyns & Sons)
The guilloche enamel patterns are some of the most intricate I have seen. The enamel is in very nice antique condition, with a thin amount missing along the line of the surrounding circle at the base of the pattern. There may be other very minor imperfections, thin linear areas of enamel loss along borders commensurate with age, which would be viewable in the enlarged photos, but do not detract from the beauty of the piece in person. Please review all photos carefully as they are an integral part of the description, and please feel free to ask questions.
The sterling is in very nice condition with no dents. The mirror is good with some crackled-appearance discolorations underneath the glass at the top; the glass is not broken and is smooth to the touch at that area. There are no chips, cracks or deep scratches.
Measurements: 10.5 inches long by 4.5 inches wide
    Weight:  Approx. 370 gram
