Estate Sale find - apparently these mirrors were popular souvenirs for tourists visiting St. Croix, Virgin Islands; probably vintage 1960's.
Silver-plated, steel drum. Can no longer read any maker's mark on the edge of the mirror, although others found on line typically read
“DE IN DENMARK” on the thin edged rim. The motif on the backside of the hand mirror is an outline of the island with the cities of Fredriksted and Christiansted being identified.
Measures 4.5 inches in length and 2 5/8 inches in width.
