Description
A beautiful and rare, hard to find item indeed. This is a gorgeous OOAK bear made by well known teddy bear artist Susan Redstreake Geary from Huntsville Alabama. Her business name was called Bear Paws at Mulberry Cottage. She may now be retired and not making bears anymore but I am not sure of that. This was made in 2000 and was the prototype bear for one she made for the Walt Disney World Auction (Lot #50 if you happen to have the catalogue) at that time. Name is "Sweetie" and is a beige and ivory Panda bear. Beautiful long soft German mohair, has real antique shoe-button eyes and merino wool paw pads. She is 14 inches tall when standing. Fully jointed and has a nice ruffled collar. See photos for details. All IDs including artist signed paw pad, tush tag and paper hang tag. From my personal collection. I am starting to downsize and I hate to part with any of my bears but I am running out of display space so looking for a good and loving new home for Sweetie. From a smoke free, pet free home. I will have a few more bears from my collection listed so you can combine purchases. I also am a huge collector of antique bears so come back often to see what I may be listing. Will ship via USPS priority mail which will include tracking and limited insurance. Serious buyers only, please. Feel free to ask questions before making a bid or purchase. International shipping only via eBay Global Shipping service.
