The BioTek ELx405 VRS plate washer is configured to rapidly fill 96 well microplates with wash/ buffer switching, and built-in sonication cleaning. Using a patented dual-action manifold with 96 dispensing and aspirating tubes for precise control of overfill washing and overflow protection. This plate washer has automatic wash/buffer switching and has a residual volume of s ≤ 5 µL per well after a three-cycle wash.  The ELx405  washer plate works with standard height microplates and is a great solution for labs looking for solid bottom microplate washing. To keep the tubing and the manifold clear, ultrasonic cleaning can be engaged, for easy maintenance between uses.
