Early Carved Howard Harlan - Nashville, TN - Duck Call

This is some of Howard Harlan's early work. This is before the Heavy Duty Call was introduced into the market. Howard Harlan was from Nashville TN. He is a fantastic call maker and the author of several great duck call books. He was known for his fancy Heavy Duty checkered calls made of Cocobola. He did not carve many calls and There are only a few of his carved calls on the market.  This call has the HLH brand on the insert and on the inside of the barrel mouth piece. There are detailed duck feathers carved into both the insert and barrel. The call in made of Osage and still sound great. What a fantastic call to add to any collection.
