Faux Fur Suit

Description

This is the original outfit used in my book "The Doll's Clothes Collection"
published by David & Charles. Book available separately on eBay & Amazon.
Designed to fit a 58-63.4cm (23-25in) doll.
The Suit is made from lightweight worsted wool. The Jacket is fully lined in
silk, has long straight sleeves and a deep V-neck with a faux fur lynx collar
that overlaps at the front. Two snap fasteners secure the jacket. The Skirt is
A-line and is lined in cotton
batiste. It has a waistband that snap fastens at
the back. The Chemisette is a sleeveless and collarless shell that fastens at
the back. It is made from silk with a self lining. A little antique pin decorates
the neckline.
The Muff is also made from
faux fur lynx and is fully lined in silk.
The wide brim Cloche is cotton velvet
with a lined crown. It is
embellished
with a satin bow, windowpane netting,
an
aigrette of feathers, and a hat pin.
