Margom spa is a manufacturer of rubber soles and heels, which with 60 employees can be considered a medium-sized company in the shoe industry.
The initial fund dates back to 1952 when Mario Aimone opened Marchigiana Gomma in Civitanova Marche, the first company to manufacture rubber semi-finished products.
Starting with the work of his father, his sons Giuseppe and Francesco founded Margom in 1974: a company of about 30 workers who produced rubber soles and heels with an annual turnover of 200 million lire.
Today Margom achieved an annual turnover of 12 million euros, concentrating mainly on the domestic market and, in particular, on the Marche region, maintaining trade relations with more than 15 countries of the world, where it reaches about 20% of its turnover.
