"dollar," a silver bullion coin, is 1 troy oz. of .999 fine
pure
silver before cutting.
It's a handsome coin with the obverse design of "Lady Liberty" enveloped in folds of the U.S. flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left; the reverse design features the heraldic eagle with shield, an olive branch in the right talon, and arrows in her left. Based on the design of the Walking Liberty coin minted from WWI to WWII, these bullion silver rounds have been minted for collectors since 1986.  Although they are "one dollar coins - face value" you would never spend them, as one ounce of silver makes these coins very valuable.
These coins are larger in diameter than the "cartwheel" dollar coins (about 1.6" inches in diameter). You will be receiving a clip made with a coin directly from a brilliant uncirculated U.S. Mint roll.
