This Skatron Embla microplate washer provides drug discovery and life science researchers with effective solutions to decrease both the time and cost of discovering new drug therapies. These washers offer versatility for a variety of assays, including cell-based assays. The Embla 384 Cell Washer has been optimized for cell-based assays and accepts 384-well format microplates. Embla washers are durable and easy to maintain. Wash heads are made of Polyethylene Terephthlate (PET) with stainless steel probes to prevent corrosion. A rinse program is included for quick and easy daily cleaning of the unit. Integrates easily into laboratory automation systems. Dual wash heads ensure high throughput, flexibility and reliability. PC-programmable in Windows environment. Flexible programming: 99 programs, each with up to 50 steps. RS-232 computer interface. Internal pressure pump. Plate adjustment feature. Robotics compatible. Compatible with Molecular Devices FLIPR3 Fluorometric Imaging Plate Reader system, as well as Molecular Devices microplate reader systems.
The Embla 384 cell washer is a top-loading, robotic-compatible microplate washer for high throughput screening. It is designed specifically for cell-based assays, which require a gentler wash, but can also be used for ELISAs.
Designed to increase throughput and decrease the cost per assay, the 384-well plate can do the job of four 96-well plates, and with Skatron's new EMBLA 384 Plate Washer, all 384 wells can be washed in a flash.
Skatron's new EMBLA 384 is designed for the high throughput screening arena and specifically for integration with laboratory automation systems. At the heart of the EMBLA 384 are two separate heads equipped with 192 probes each (arranged in an 8 x 24 grid); one head for aspirating and one for dispensing. The EMBLA rapidly transfers the plate between heads during washing and is capable of dispensing 10µl to 100µl in a 384-well plate with a coefficient of variation of 2 percent at 90µl. Two separate inlets allow for the use of two different liquids, such as two separate wash buffers, a wash solution and a dispense solution, or a wash solution and a rinse solution.
To ensure high aspirating efficiency, the EMBLA 384 allows for program-specific electronic adjustment of the aspiration probes. Also, well depths can be determined easily since the EMBLA contains a growing library that lists well depth of many commercially available 384-well plates. Each EMBLA is electronically standardized, ensuring reproducibility from one instrument to the next.

Shipment
Payment is mandatory within 5 business days of auction close. Packages will be shipped UPS Ground and or FED EX economy class. If special shipping requirements are needed this will be done on a case by case basis. It is not our standard practice to ship outside of North America, but special arrangements can be made. We can also ship packages using purchasers shipping account through FED EX or UPS the Purchaser has to supply the account information and a handling fee will apply.
Buyer will pay actual shipping & handling costs which will be figured out at the end of the auction. We may combine shipment, but this is done on a case by case basis and please don’t ask for multi price quotes on shipping prior to purchasing these items.

The Purchaser is responsible for all shipping insurance; if a package is received damaged the purchaser is also responsible to imitating the claim at the receiving end.
