The True T-12-HC reach-in refrigerator uses a capillary tube system to ensure temperatures are cool. A temperature range of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit is maintained by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and the electronically commutated condenser and evaporator fan motors move a consistent volume of air. The refrigeration system is mounted on the bottom, which is in the coolest area of the kitchen.
The solid door has a stainless steel exterior with a white aluminum liner and is self-closing to help keep cold air in the cabinet. A 12-inch-long recessed handle is permanently foamed in place with a sheet metal interlock. Magnetic door gaskets prevent cold air leaks.
