Description
These two classic money clips date to the 1970s and belonged to my Dad who got them in Arizona. They show signs of vintage wear. Please mouse in closely to see if the little scratches are acceptable to you.1) Southwest style clip is set with a turquoise stone. It measures 1" x 2". The eagle feather design is typical of Navajo silver work. It is not marked, but we believe it is sterling because of the way it reacts to cleaning and buffing. Bills fit firmly beneath a spring bar.
2) Deco style clip is marked "925 & 14K". It measures 1" x 2". Layered rectangle design is typical Art Deco, with sterling surrounding a single layer of gold. It shows some wear in the form of small scratches. An internal spring holds bills securely.l
