VINTAGE MURIEL TOWNSEND ARTIST TEDDY BEAR MOHAIR CIRCUS BEAR CLOWN

Description

Offered here is a wonderful & charming vintage Teddy bear by artist Muriel Townsend of Cranberry Mountain Bears.  "Bearnard" the circus bear is entirely hand created by Muriel herself in 1987.  His body is made of cranberry colored mohair & his head is gray mohair.  The eyes are black glass & his hand stitched nose is cranberry colored.  The pads are gray suede.  He measures 12" tall & is 5x jointed.  Around his neck is a ruffled collar & down the front of his body are 3 of the sweetest metal rose shaped buttons. The body tag reads Muriel 1987.  Also included is the original hang tag.  He comes from a smoke free home.  Overall very good condition.
