    According to Wikipedia "
    The AN/PRC-6
is a walkie-talkie used by the U.S. military in the late Korean War era through the Vietnam War.
Raytheon developed the RT-196/PRC-6 following World War II as a replacement for the SCR-536 "handy-talkie". The AN/PRC-6 operates using wide-band FM on a single crystal controlled frequency in the 47 to 55.4 MHz low band VHF band."

THE UNCOMMON, THE UNIQUE, THE UNUSUAL
HAM RADIO, MORSE CODE, ANTIQUE RADIO, AND MUCH MORE
I tend to look for the very rare, very unusual items related to ham radio, antique radio, morse code and telegraphy. I hunt down things other people might not notice, or things people might not know are unique or interesting or rare or historical.  I haunt flea markets, antique shops, even estate sales in search of things other people pass by.  I tend to focus on books, but you'll find all manner of unique items in my listings.  CHECK MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR MANY VERY OLD RADIO BOOKS !
