"Claudia Gail" A. Willsmith Teddy Bear by Carolyn A. Smith One of a Kind!

Description

All bears listed are from a bear collector and have all been keep in a smoke-free/pet-free home.  They have never been played with; only displayed.  If there is a flaw on the bear it will be described in details.  All tags have been removed from the bears.  I will describe the tag in detail as some have been taped to paper or glued on cardstock/printer paper.

Bear Name:  "Claudia Gail"
Artist:  Carolyn A. Smith
Carolyn A. Smith was a bear designer from Oklahoma City, OK.  She sold bears under the label "A. Willsmith Bear" which was a nod to her mother, Nell Williams who initially sewed the bear forms.
Original Tag:  No paper tag available.   Sewn-in tag is attached to bear; see attached pictures.
Condition of Bear:  "Claudia Gail" is a light brown teddy bear who stands approx. 17" tall.  She is fully jointed but her joints are a bit stiff.  Her arms have limited movement due to the removable sweater she is wearing.  The sweater Claudia Gail is wearing is long on her arms so I have rolled them up a bit so one can see her paws.  Her sweater does have a small hole in the back.  Her cap is removable but please note that the ribbon the cap is pretty thin on one side.  Her lace scarf is also removable.  She is wearing little leather booties on her feet and I did not try to remove them.  The bear does not have any stains/tears nor does she have
an odor associated with her.
